is named in memory and respect of the first King of the Lanna Kingdom and Founder of Chiang Mai city, King (Phraya Chao) Mengrai (13th century)

being positioned at the top front of the cottage and facing east provides a wonderful morning light and well ventilated space with views across the lake through the teak trees

in the heart of the Lanna style teak home with direct access to the lounge area, kitchen, bathroom and veranda relaxation area and workstations

although the natural cool winds help to keep the room nice and cool, on hot days sometimes it is necessary to cool the room with the air conditioning

Located on the ground floor of the cottage, this larger room is cool and well shaded and offers garden views, private access and bathroom.

is named in respect and admiration of King (Phraya Chao Kawila, originally of Lampang (17th century) who liberated Chiang Mai and Lanna from the Burmese and became the ruler and founder of the Jet Ton dynasty.
